public reading:
isaiah 55:1-13
read to yourself:
rev 21:1-7
1. Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away,
and there is no longer any sea.
2. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a
bride adorned for her husband.
3. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men,
and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them,
4. and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there
will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away."
5. And He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." And He *said, "Write,
for these words are faithful and true."
6. Then He said to me, "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will
give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.
7. "He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son.
2 cor 5:1-5
1. For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a
house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2. For indeed in this house we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven,
3. inasmuch as we, having put it on, will not be found naked.
4. For indeed while we are in this tent, we groan, being burdened, because we do not want to be unclothed
but to be clothed, so that what is mortal will be swallowed up by life.
5. Now He who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave to us the Spirit as a pledge.
pray alone:
thank god for his character - psalm 136:1-3
1. Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
2. Give thanks to the God of gods,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
3. Give thanks to the Lord of lords,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
confess your individual sin to god - 1 tim 1:12-15
12. I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service,
13. even though I was formerly a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent aggressor. Yet I was shown mercy
because I acted ignorantly in unbelief;
14. and the grace of our Lord was more than abundant, with the faith and love which are found in Christ Jesus.
15. It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save
sinners, among whom I am foremost of all.
ask for your personal sanctification and effective ministry - col 1:9-12
9. For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that
you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
10. so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in
every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11. strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously
12. giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light.
- ask for the ministry and sanctification of 3 people in the room - matt 8:36-38
36. Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and
dispirited like sheep without a shepherd.
37. Then He *said to His disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
38. "Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest."
pray together:
psalm 138:1,2
1. A Psalm of David. I will give You thanks with all my heart;
I will sing praises to You before the gods.
2. I will bow down toward Your holy temple
And give thanks to Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth;
For You have magnified Your word according to all Your name.
(prayer requests) - phil 4:6
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
matt 6:9-13
Our Father who is in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
[For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.]
read all together: psalm 128
1. How blessed is everyone who fears the LORD,
Who walks in His ways.
2. When you shall eat of the fruit of your hands,
You will be happy and it will be well with you.
3. Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine
Within your house,
Your children like olive plants
Around your table.
4. Behold, for thus shall the man be blessed
Who fears the LORD.
5. The LORD bless you from Zion,
And may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life.
6. Indeed, may you see your children's children.
Peace be upon Israel!
