clicking on icons

the getty museum in los angeles is currently exhibiting icons from st. catherine's monastery at mount sinai. icons have long been controvertial in christianity.
for an introduction to icons, your could read the coldly academic wikipedia entries linked above, or you could read this comic by fred sanders, which he did as part of the "doctor doctrine" comic book series.
(i especially like the sheep.)
